Dr. Eric B. Naasz
Dr. Naasz, an OC native is a well-rounded board qualified foot and ankle reconstructive surgeon. He takes the utmost care and pride in his patients well-being and outcomes. His undergraduate schooling was completed at UC Irvine followed by medical school at Midwestern University. Dr. Naasz’s comprehensive post-graduate training was at the Greater Los Angeles Veterans Administration-Olive View UCLA Medical Centers. This podiatric training included surgical planning and operative techniques for elective and non-elective forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle reconstruction. Including but not limited to trauma, diabetic limb salvage, minimal incision techniques, pediatrics, sports medicine and podiatric Inpatient care and primary call responsibilities for foot and ankle emergencies and admissions. After his comprehensive training at the VA and UCLA Dr. Naasz completed a fellowship in Transosseous Osteosynthesis for Foot and Ankle Injuries & Disorders in Kurgan, Russia at the internationally renowned Ilizarov Scientific Center for Restorative Traumatology and Orthopaedics. Residents and medical students continued to be mentored by Dr. Naasz. He also takes full advantage of living in beautiful Southern California where he is very active outdoors enjoying cycling, skiing, and surfing on a regular basis.
